Hongruntong Marine’s Self-Floating Hose is a purpose-built flotation hose that combines reliable buoyancy with abrasion-resistant conveyance for cutter-suction and trailing-suction dredging. The hose features an integrated closed-cell foam buoyancy layer that maintains positive flotation and stable handling in varying sea states, reducing the need for external floats and simplifying deployment.

 

Constructed from multi-layer synthetic rubber with fabric and/or steel-wire reinforcement, the design balances flexibility, wear resistance and burst strength for continuous slurry transfer. The abrasion-resistant inner liner and durable outer cover protect against sand, silt and UV exposure, while the foam-filled core preserves shape and prevents water ingress even under prolonged service conditions.

 

All hoses are available in customizable diameters, lengths and end fittings to suit specific dredger interfaces and project requirements. The Structures of Self-Floatig Hoses

Hongruntong Marine’s Dredge Self-Floating Hose features an integrated, multi-layer construction designed for superior buoyancy and durability in dredging operations. The inner rubber liner is highly abrasion-resistant to handle sand, slurry and gravel. Reinforced with high-tensile synthetic fabric or steel wire, it provides excellent pressure resistance and flexibility. The outer layer consists of high-strength Closed-Cell Foam that ensures permanent buoyancy and prevents water absorption, all encased by a UV- and weather-resistant rubber cover for long-term marine performance. Flanged ends or customized connectors are available to match different dredger systems.
