Hongruntong Marine’s Discharge Hose is a heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant dredging hose engineered for reliable conveyance of sand, silt and slurry in cutter-suction and trailing-suction dredging, including trailing-suction hopper dredgers. This high-pressure hose delivers consistent flow and abrasion resistance in harsh marine dredging environments, making it ideal for high-throughput operations.

Constructed from multi-layer synthetic rubber with fabric and/or steel-wire reinforcement, the hose combines excellent flexibility, burst strength and wear resistance. Available in customizable diameters, lengths and pressure ratings, our discharge hose supports common connection types and quick-connect fittings to suit project specifications and ease on-site installation.

The Structures of Discharge Hoses

Hongruntong Marine’s Dredge Discharge Hose features a multi-layer construction optimized for high-pressure, high-abrasion dredging service: an abrasion-resistant inner rubber liner, one or more textile/steel-wire reinforcement plies for burst strength and flexibility, and a durable outer rubber cover engineered for UV and weather resistance. Options include additional wear linings (ceramic/ UHMW), steel-wire or fabric braid reinforcement, and a variety of end fittings (flanges, quick-connect couplings or custom mating faces) to suit project interfaces.

How Does The Discharge Hose Work?

The discharge hose transfers pressurised slurry from the dredge pump to the discharge endpoint. Pump-generated pressure pushes the mixed sand/slurry through the abrasion-resistant liner while the reinforcement layers sustain hoop and axial loads.
